Upon completing his studies, Tabari joined his two brothers in the family’s business, Ranya Trading & Contracting, based in the United Arab Emirates. The company was involved in diverse sectors, such as electro-mechanical engineering, construction materials, and pharmaceutical products. Expanding Horizons and Gaining Experience
Tabari’s career took him to London, where he worked as Executive Director for Multiworld International, an exporter of electrical materials, consumer products, and medical equipment. This role helped him broaden his international business perspective, and the company operated in several locations, including London, Washington, D.C., and the UAE.
Later, he moved to Saudi Arabia as Executive Director at International Marketing & Development Company (INMA), specializing in electrical and mechanical services contracting. These experiences further enhanced his business development and contracting expertise, skills that would serve him well when he embarked on his entrepreneurial ventures.
Building His Entrepreneurial Empire
In the mid-1980s, Khaldoun Tabari’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own business. He founded Tathniya (TEST) Electro-Mechanical Contracting in Saudi Arabia, specializing in mechanical and electrical services. Additionally, he set up TEST Contracting, a civil construction business in Dubai. His relentless work ethic and long hours contributed to the growth of these companies, and soon, they expanded into real estate development and engineering, becoming instrumental in the region's urbanization.

In addition to his construction and real estate work, Tabari served as Chairman of Vision Investments & Holdings Inc., a diversified holding company. One notable venture is Emcor Facilities Management ME, a global company offering comprehensive mechanical and electrical construction, energy management, and infrastructure services. Another significant venture was Tabari’s establishment of a Thrifty Rent-A-Car franchise in Jordan and his apparel licensing agreement with Beverly Hills Polo Club (BHPC) for the Middle East region.
